Their collective credits include Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Boyz II Men, Arturo Sandoval, and a performance at the White House. Every member is a world-class musician with deep roots at Mandalay Bay (MGM) and stages around the globe.

Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy is the founder and bandleader of Matt Murphy Entertainment Group and the driving force behind State of Mind. A world-class drummer and Musical Director, Matt has spent nearly 30 years performing at the highest levels of live entertainment — from the grand stages of Las Vegas to concert halls across Europe and the high seas with Norwegian Cruise Line.

As Musical Director for numerous Las Vegas-based bands and a veteran of Mandalay Bay (MGM), Matt brings an unmatched combination of talent, professionalism, and genuine warmth to every event he touches.
